Hogmanay

This was the view from the bedroom window this morning. Bit of drama over the hills. Storm Frank has gone and we have got off very lightly compared to some people.

I'm not a great one for New Year which can be slightly melancholy with a tendency towards the maudlin. The celebrations in Stirling are muted this year after a few years of cancellations because of the weather. We have an invitation to friends which is lovely but also have family commitments so we'll see how the evening goes.

I no longer make resolutions - but I wish all Blippers a happy, healthy and fun-filled 2016
