Weathered

I realise this is not a very festive image but didn't have much to choose from today.  Been a lazy day though did manage to take J out for a short walk.  A large tree had fallen across the road leading down to the loch so it wasn't one of usual walks.  This is part of the old kennels at Aros park, that nature is gradually reclaiming.   I hope it isn't an insensitive choice as I know so many people will be despairing as they return to houses and businesses to see for the first time the awful impact of the flooding on their homes and livelihoods.  My heart goes out to everyone affected by the terrible weather.  Never good at any time but what a way to start the new year.
