Paddling
Yet another poor weather forecast for today so we put our faith in the Met Office app and headed out to the shore at the start of the two hour non-rain window. The light was good as we arrived (as evidenced in today's extra) but there was certainly a drop in the temperature from previous days so cold fingers, a problem with my sd card and diminishing battery power were added challenges but at least we didn't get wet. Bailey was allowed his freedom once we had that part of the bay to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed himself running on the sand, in and out of pools and between Dad and I. Until I decided that he needed to go back on his lead and he decided that he didn't fancy it...
We walked back to the car through the fields, carrying Bailey over stiles so that he didn't get as muddy as we did. We had timed it just right as the rain came on not very much later - and was even heavier when Bailey and I headed around the block later in the afternoon.
Bailey is definitely post-seaside again and is already fast asleep at 9 o'clock so I doubt very much if he will see 2015 out and 2016 in without a significant nudge.
