Woodland elf

Rick and I were wandering in the woods by the Wissahickon Creek this morning, when we ran into this little wood elf, sitting in the middle of the path.

We asked him which was the path to happiness and he pointed to the path in front of us.

May we all walk happily into a new year of happiness, health and loving warmth in 2016!

(Later on we saw him hiding behind a tree watching us [extra photo]...I think he may be our personal guardian woodland elf. Is there such a  thing?)
