The Smuggler's Inn

The Smuggler's Inn is my favourite pub. I love the way it's a mission to get to. I love that it's hidden away in the folds of the hills. I love the way that it's steeped in history and hoarded booty that the smugglers pulled up onto the tiny shoal beach below. It pulls a great pint (Badger brewery).

It just feels dramatic.

On my request, we booked a table for lunch. Gina and I were looking forward to some exercise so we rented bikes and rode there. We ended up staying there much longer than originally planned - the sun came out, and it seemed like coffee time! We'd rented a bike seat too, so Miles rode back with us.
