Hatsumode

On the very first day of each year, loads of Japanese get to shrines - we visited Hokkaido Jingu because this is the finest one in Sapporo -  to give prayers. Around the shrine, there were tons of street food stalls even though roads were covered in deep snow. Me and S just dropped by one stall to buy yummy croissant taiyaki. I'm chuffed that with the great vibe we were able to have a lovely time.
