We left home at 8 to quite a grey, overcast day and ended up in sunshine 45 minutes later, as we got to Lowestoft to see the Olympic Torch Relay. N & J seemed to enjoy themselves as we waited - they were moderately impressed with these two, who did a fair job of entertaining the crowds, but were much more impressed by the police outriders with their noisy horns and flashing lights. The sponsors buses were also a hit, although we were standing on the wrong side of the road for freebies. The torch went by in a flash but it was certainly worth the wait.
