London Hogmanay 2015

We decided to go up to London to see in the New Year, rather than staying at home.  Last year's "stay at home" wasn't the most exhilarating Hogmanay so we thought we'd sample the buzz of London.  I've lived in the South East for 35 years and this was my first Capital NYE.

We went up with our friends, Sue and Kevin, managed to find a few pubs open so had a couple of sherbets then headed off to the river to watch the fireworks.  (Last year's attempt to watch them from ~30 miles away was a bit of a flop so we decided to get as close as crowds and ticketing barriers would permit).
The blip is of Sue, Kevin and the 'one-legged" Mrs. M. - though I notice that the scratch on the front lens seems to be affecting pics more.  Perhaps time for a new cheapie compact camera.
