Orchid

Back at work today. Early start and late finish return to home, so a bit of a pain. Work went well though, so not bad all things considered.

Today's blip is some kind of orchid flower. My better half was given it some years ago and it flowered once, but since then has just grown and never flowered - it's quite large and it only fits in a relatively cool room, so it's probably not felt like flowering. My better half decided to put it in the compost last week but evidently fearing it's own demise it decided to put out some flowers - blipped here.  Actually it's probably just the super mild weather we've had that it liked, but I think the idea that it can hear is more fun - in a sinister sort of way...
