Frosty New Year

After the strange wet and warm December the new year dawned with a touch of frost, much more normal winter weather. Ailsa wondered what the ice was and where the puddles had gone, but the morning walk was fresh and dry. A good walk again in the afternoon, frost had lifted by then and there was even a hint of sun through the cloud.
