Busy day!

Got up early and loaded the car to go to mum and dad's. Dropped the present a off and headed out to get auntie M. Came back and helped with the mammoth task of carving and serving to feed 10 hungry people. The meal was lovely.....really very nice.
Spent hours washing up and clearing up whilst the family sat and nattered - just lovely.
Took auntie M home and came back. R was taken to a and e with some kind of allergic reation. 2nd case I've heard of today. He will be ok though.
Headed home very late and quite frankly pooped.
Christmas for me is not about presents but spending time with the family. I haven't opened a single present.
I am utterly disgusted and upset with D for not turning up. She knows how I feel. If R can sit there and eat his sprouts when he is so ill he has to go to hospital then she really has picked the wrong day to make a stance. A HUGE mistake which she will regret. Enough is enough now.
