Prizes

Carys came out of school tonight with a small cup, three silver medals and a laurel wreath made of tissue paper. Exactly what she has done to earn them is still a bit hazy.

"I came second in three races (but she is unable to explain what the races were, although she mentioned long jump and javelin!) and I got the cup because I will be more careful than everyone else in my team and it is easy to break."

One day maybe I will be told, but if not it is enough for me to know she is pleased with her achievements today.
