Today was day 3 of my recovery and although it seemed to start off rough, I do believe I turned the corner.  Slept in late and after a morning of coffee with the boys we judged my pain level (pretty low) and decided today was a good day to break me out of prison and go on a field trip.  We ended up at the family's cabin and had fun playing baseball (the boys) on the beach and games in the cabin.  I am now completely off the pain meds and feeling ecstatic about that.  I told them both I'll be running by next week.  ;)   More pics.
