Nowhere to go

The centre of town is one huge construction site, trade for many businesses has trickled to a halt. Went for a meal to a really nice bijou restaurant and we were the only people in. The food and service were great but they are very fearful for their future. The work could be ongoing for a couple of years yet. Headed for home feeling a bit depressed.
