Say Cheese

A visit to Holland would be incomplete without a visit to Madurodam, a visit to Delft, and a cheese tasting. No doubt there are many other requisites, but today we managed all three of the items listed.

The day started with a visit to Madurodam, a miniature version of Holland where many of the sited are displayed in miniature. In fact a visit to Madurodam could almost make going to visit some of the places shown unnecessary! OK, maybe not.

After Madurodam we took a tram to Delft. After a beer in the main square where we a mired the architecture we proceeded to taste and buy some cheese in the establishment shown above. We also visited a shop displaying Royal Delft. This lasast however can be somewhat expensive so was accompanied by a very modest purchase.

No time for a trip on a canal boat, but we did manage an extensive walk around the town.
