The Littlest Tour Guide
No we did not get a dog! My husband and I went to Whitmuir organics to pick up a few things at the shop and go for a walk around the farm. When we arrived we were greeted by the resident farm dog who did not want to leave my husband's side. After making our purchases we returned to the car to put our items away and get our boots on. It took my husband ages to get his boots on as the dog was getting in his way.
We then begin walking along the path through the farm, at first the dog followed us, until we went slightly off the track to avoid the mud. The dog stuck to the trail and got in front of us stopping every so often to make sure we were still there. I called the dog our little tour guide. At one point I slipped on the mud and got my hair stuck in the tree branch. the dog went out of sight as my husband freed me, but it wasn't long before the dog came running back to us.
Later on we went to see 'Star Wars' with a friend. It has sort of become a tradition for me to go the the cinema on the 29 Dec which started in 2010 as a sort of distraction from missing my dad on his birthday after his sudden death in Oct 2010. Now it is not so much of a distract as it is a way to mark the day the my wonderfully unique and intelligent father was born. This photo is for you dad. The title is a nod to one of my favourite shows as child that I enjoyed watching with my dad 'The littlest Hobo'. See extra photo
