Sadly I feel blip will go the same way. Less than 50% funding, so far. You would expect to get the majority in the first month.

Yesterday's special 'push' has added approx  £14,000 to the pledges. To hit the target we would need a 'special' day every eight days and we would get diminishing returns from each appeal.
 
Have made two suggestions to Blip futures team, one of which is to point out that Blip doesn't just need users help but that it WON'T survive without more contributions.

From reading lots of comments yesterday I think there are a significant number of Blip users who don't think that the problem is theirs, that someone else will sort it out and they will be able carry on Blipping as before. A bit like politics.
