Laggan Dam

We spent the morning playing in the swimming pool at the hotel and the afternoon driving home via fort William because Crianlarich road was closed due to flooding. The Laggan Dan was on full - all 5 pipes and overflowing round the dudes and over the top. As we drive towards Dalwhinnie it seemed like we were driving along a causeway. All fields were flooded, some were still others were flowing fast. An incredible amount of water. Luckily the flooding we encountered was only minor and passable. We got home to news that our friends in Peebles had their canoe inflated and floating in their livingroom. Storm Frank was certainly ferocious.
