St Mary's Burwell

I had designated today a housework day but, once again, the want/need to be outdoors since I'm stronger was calling and, with only a little encouragement, I took Stella out this afternoon for a geocaching walkies.

The need to have quality time with her was very strong too after learning some devastating news about our friends' little dog. Another constant companion was gone too soon and very unexpectedly :(

So, knowing there were a village sign cache and a church micro cache which hopefully meant less muddy paths, we went to Burwell. We had a most wonderful walk around this lovely village, lots of it new to me even though we've been there before and, as well as the 2 we set out for we got another 4 in between rain showers.

We saved the best till last but now we were losing light too so the church looked very pretty indeed only partially illuminated.
