Etna

The Etna volcano is an interesting place, not only because of its frequent eruptions and the beautiful landscapes that are on offer both during the winter and during the summer - but also because of the unique little towns that have been built on it. Most of them are little known jewels, full of baroque-style architecture which uses a lot of lava stone. It was a very nice end-of-the-year holiday after all.
