Let there be light

We took down all the decorations today and to make up for missing the twinkly Christmas lights, we plugged in some flower lights instead. It took no time at all since the decorations were rather spartan this year as Ian had the job of putting them up!

It was another rotten wet day so indoor stepping was once again the order of the day - Columbo kept me company whilst I plodded.

Leo was very happy to discover he has an extra day off. We thought he went back to school on Monday but it turns out that is a non pupil day so he can have an extra day of fun. He'll make the most if it by joining the work crew at the Bowls Club where he can dish out tea and biscuits to all the gang.

It has been a great Christmas break, especially as it is the first one in years that we have survived without some lurgy or other :)
