I decided to go up to St Giles' Cathedral to see if I could spot any Royals on their way out. I was there far too late and had a lousy view near the back of the crowd. A few photogs were also at the back, but they brought their step ladders with them and could actually do something should a Royal appear. I did manage some pictures of the Queen & Prince William but they were pretty lame ones taken with them inside their cars. I don't know if there was an earlier walkabout-and-chat with the crowd, but it was frustrating to everyone how they went from leaving the Cathedral to driving off in their cars within something like 30 seconds. Thank goodness I didn't have to rely on a decent shot of them for a living. And I'm sure revolutions have started for lesser reasons.
This subject was standing well away from the crowd with her friend. For posing I just arranged her flag and hands. I didn't go back to check if she ever got the chance to actually wave her flag...
