Boxing Day walk
There has been a long tradition of walking around Scolt Head Island on Boxing Day established by Peter and Mel. It has passed into history now and so I walked out to East Head instead and looked across to Scolt Head. There was a solitary seal in the harbour.
As I was sorting things out I found the cards with a photo of each one of the walks (traditionally taken at the Warden's Hut where they stopped for some lunch) that Peter and Mel had sent to dad marking each year, going back many years. Dad had kept them all.
