Lightbulb moment

A quiet day, in comparison.

An early night last night made this morning very civilised. Some tidying, pancake brunch for the kids, then fishy lunch for all which, despite the fried fish, felt very healthy compared to food of late.

Later some lonesome shopping while the others bowled, with a fight in M&S and an extraordinary dearth of vests in the same.

Very later, a birthday evening out for 3/4 of us with the not-very-old Marcus from NZ-California at a very fine Japanese-NZ restaurant on the Kings Road. Much fun, much food, much booze. And these lightbulbs.

Our London sojourn is coming to an end which, despite my homesickness, makes me sad.
