Windblown waves

Today we drove to the coast, to do some beach clean-up, and just have fun. Ben and Phyllis from Alaska accompanied us, and brilliant sunshine! It was so very windy, that we came close to abandoning the mission. 
I switched to "gathering firewood", John hauled a huge thick rope piece from the beach, and Ben's sack we did fill with trash. That all was followed by happy hour at the Baked Alaska.
The wind was blowing the wave tops all over the place in the ocean. The extras are from the Columbia river side, John and Ben starting the clean- up, and some beach art, an arch made  by the tiny reed blowing back and forth in the sand.
