It's July 4th and it's independence day and all that. I sang the star spangled banner in fits and starts and I tried to remember the pledge and failed.

Then we sat around being hot and then we got the hell out of dodge with a trip to the movie rental store... I don't even understand movie rental stores anymore I so seldom visit. But we got Burke & Hare and that was great and some other film with Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock, that was so totally lame, we returned it before we finished it. It was nice to take it easy and have some quality dollar store snacks while we watched the films.

I need to relax more but maybe without the trashy food...
