Beddgelert boyos (day one)

Myself and 5 of my bestbuddyboyos took ourselves off for a weekend camping trip today, over the hills to the vale of Beddgelert in the middle of Snowdonia. I'd spotted the campsite whilst out on a walk a little while back and made a mental note to go there with the boys sometime.

'That time' turned out to be now, partly because it was the only time we could all get together but also because it was the last weekend before the season ended and we really wanted to get away and blow away the proverbial cobwebs before the snow started to fall. It was mainly to help give a good friend some breathing space after the utter nightmare he's gone through this year, but it also turned out to be a slight distraction for me too.

So here's two of the gang larking around by the tent waiting for the cook-up to be dished out.

(We had lukewarm curry and rice, out of a tin. Utterly RANK yet decidedly yummy at the same time.)
