Look who's back: #Endeavour on @itv tonight

Probably my favourite drama series returns to British screens tonight! Endeavour is the story of Inspector Morse as a young police detective in the 1960s, inspired by the works of crime writer Colin Dexter. The show was devised by Russell Lewis, who has written every episode to date and is an executive producer on the third series that launches tonight [ITV, 8pm].

I've already seen the first story - Ride - thanks to a kind invitation from programme makers Mammoth Studios, but I'll be watching again. No spoilers, but there's much to enjoy in the return of Endeavour following the massive cliffhanger conclusion to series two.
