Windermere View

With rain forecast we decided to nip up the hill opposite where we are staying and head for Lily Tarn a small lake on the approaches to Loughrigg Fell, the battered and closed footbridge meant an early and long diversion but we did make the ascent before the rain started and the views were well worth it. After this the rain started and it was time to peg back down the hill and eat some well deserved breakfast!
