Mascots

It was a big day at East End Park, being 20 years since Norrie McCathie died. The visiting team was Cowdenbeath (the only other senior team he'd played for) - there was a minute's silence before the match and a bumper bunch of 11 mascots, some of which can be seen here being led from the pitch by Sammy the Tammy, who seems to be a trans-species hamster/bear/gerbil.

We disported ourselves in a corporate hospitality box - although wee pies rather than prawn sandwiches appeared at half-time. It gave us a cracking view of the match (if slightly too much of the overweight linesman trying vainly to keep pace with the players).
