Well, Claire chose B.

And this news that sent her into such a spin?

She will have a new English Teacher next year and the English Teacher couldn't confirm she was in the top set as the classes hadn't been finalised yet.

Claire's interpretation was I'm not getting the teacher I want and why am I not with the 'intelligent' people? It's not fair!

Luckily the Library Prefect was on hand to usher the gawpers out of the library in a calm and orderly fashion.

Luckily I managed to get her to calm down about 10 minutes later.

Luckily I had a chance to speak with her English Teacher who was able to have a quiet word with her and reassure her.
