On the road to Vermont...

Dear Diary,

Drove to Vermont this morning....back through the White Mountains.  This time the White Mountains were actually white and it flurried nearly the whole way off and on.  I'll be staying the night on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT.  I haven't been here for, well, as close as I can recall, 40 years!

Still the bustling college town I remember but the view of the magnificent lake is a bit dubious due to weather conditions.  Dinner tonight with my nephew and grand niece.  I'm very excited since I haven't seen them in a couple of years.
