what?

l have passed this gate daily and wondered what was in the hedge. today l got out for a look; which was silly because l had sandals on and it was WET. I found this boiler - what from, or what it would be used from l am not sure. It is very long with a 'chimney' part way down. There were no rail or tramways in the area as it is on the fell end - mystery!
