The Bedford Arms Gang

In days of yore there was a group of lads sharing a house.  This group spent many hours - almost every evening! - propping up the bar of the Bedford Arms in Chenies near Amersham.  Gradually, one by one, they peeled off for work or marriage. The group has stayed friends over the years and meets up from time to time, not always easy especially as one of them now lives in Spain.  My husband is one of this crazy group and, fortunately, all the wives get on well together so we have a good time when we meet.  Three couples have sons in their early twenties and it seems that all the boys have turned out well despite their parental influences!
