Snow

Well, it's been cold enough for snow for days, it was only a matter of time.  A good 3 inches or so this morning, more is on the way and then freezing rain is coming next - a glaze on top of the snow - dangerous stuff, no joke.  So my walk around the neighborhood this morning is me done for being outside for the rest of the day.  The snow does make a pleasing scrunch, scrunch sound underfoot.

Hubby is en route to London so the snow was not a welcome sight.  We decided a cab to the airport was the best way to go.  His flight from PDX left on time and arrived in SEATAC just fine.  As the weather develops it will hopefully not mess up the departure of his next flight to LHR.

I am now going to make fennel and white bean soup.
