MonoMonday: Beginnings.Bombing Run
Marie and I went down to Moeraki today,looking at photographing Fledgling Yellow eyed Penguins. We saw one Adult and a Juvenile but it was well hidden in the scrub. As I was shooting images of the Seals,this Southern Black Backed Gull

Was out to protect its chicks and started Dive Bombing me and even tried to drop one on me but missed by about a metre, this was the beginnings of a careful relationship between me and her especially me and not looking up. The Black back are a very large bird and watching her fly over and dive bomb was great photographically. Chicks
