blessed journey
We have left Bytom after the breakfast to drive to my home town.
My plan was to call auntie Gosia (mum's younger sister) and surprise her with the visit. Unfortunately she was working and we could only meet briefly for loads of hugs and well wishes and we brought her lovely presents. She was moved to tears and shaky but we managed to get a bonus point of kindness for doing this.
Mum would have been really proud, I know :)
But before we saw auntie Gosia, we went to visit my parents grave.
It was a cold afternoon in Dzierzoniow city cemetery, the air was crisp and fresh. We lit few candles and sat in silence for a bit, the sky was open and still light but full of enormous colours bubbling up.
It was time to leave them in peace and meet auntie Gosia.
It was really hard to say goodbye to her after that very brief meeting, but we had to go to our last destination - Szklarska Poreba in South West part of Poland.
I took this picture from the road as the sun was setting, leaving the shutter speed a bit wee open hence the blurred effect, well I love it :)
