The end and the beginning

Life can be as capricious as the ends of this Nigella Damascena seed head, that is for sure. But then the end of this flower leads also to new beginnings with its seeds. I was planning a different morning, starting the project of clearing, sorting, giving away and binning all the surplus stuff I've collected since we moved into this house in Belgium. I've done a bit of that, but rather distracted as most of all I've been trying to cope with a family matter coming up absolutely unexpectedly this morning regarding one of the sons. I expect we'll be dealing that for most of this week, month, if not this whole year. The seeds we sow .... here's to solving the problem, getting over the hurt and disappointment and to new beginnings and turning a new leaf !
