An idea for a mass blip

I played around with this image this morning. Posted on facebook and someone kindly told me a I had the year wrong. Funny how long it takes to actually realise an idea. And then I thought I'd better put a tag line on in case someone  saw it and had palpitations or worse.

The funding ticks up.

I've added a couple of things to my blog. There is a view the current owners might take something rather than nothing.

(On this score I wonder if there might be some tax advantages to writing off what they own but I have no way of knowing this. Particularly as we don;t know under what corporate form Blipfoto is currently owned although I assume this in the US and not the UK. But again this is speculation.)

But if you look at the revised Blipfuture business plan finances (Blipfuture CIC - Financial Projections) it is clear that Blipfoto under new ownership by Blipfuture would require about £125,000 to get through years 1 and 2 of operation. Of course, those figures are not set in stone but that is what we have been presented with as 'investors'.

Hey ho. I'll keep trying. And thank you for all your comments and ideas.

It does occur to me that winning each and every investor and donor is important not only for their financial contribution but also because this shows a commitment that hoepfully will follow through into a paid-up membership in the new Blipfoto. As such, each new contributor to the crowdfunding campaign is vitally important as a future indication of the revenue stream and financial sustainability of the company. Big, medium and small investments are all really important as are the actual number of investors. It's critical to bear this in mind.

(The image is a photo of the FT share prices page cropped and HDR merged with a PS gradient tool page of the same size and saturated to get the eye-aching, painful red. Then the text tool - Brush Script and Charlemagne Script.)

I have once more been pushed by membership of Blipfoto to learn something new.

PS: I've made a few changes to the Funding Appeal I've drafted. It's here on my site. Feel free to link, copy etc if you think it could be useful. This is now the final version.
