Wild seas

I called down to North Berwick to wish my mother a Happy New Year and have a light lunch with her. While the Forth on the drive down looked calm the coastline at North Berwick was more exposed and the waves crashing on to the beach were pronounced. Not as dramatic as elsewhere in the UK but a sight nevertheless.

So despite the failing light on my way home I popped down to the East Beach to get this view. Although the temperature was 7oC it felt raw in the wind.
