Sand dunes (Day 241)
The wind and rain seems relentless at the moment. Walking the dogs up the hill this morning was a real chore in full waterproofs, our faces stung by the icy, driving rain.
My beautiful wife and I spent the rest of the morning drying out and thinking about where we should go for the afternoon torture session dog walk. We settled on heading to the beach at Evie and did our best to stay out of the wind and the rain. The storms have deposited a lot more sand on the beach and the wind has whipped it into interesting patterns under tiny pebbles. I had chosen "texture" as the theme for the 3 Bob challenge for the day, and the sculpted sand seemed to be worthy of a blip. It was a quick shot while the rain eased and before the dogs walked all over the sand.
Once home again there was enough time for HV to blip before I took her to town for another 24 hour shift. I headed to Stromness to look at a leaking hot water cylinder. There isn't much I can do with it until I source a replacement.
I am looking forward to seeing what Bob blips for the challenge today.
