Great Glen from Beinn Iaruinn

The weather forecast for the north-east was dire, so we headed west from Newtonmore to Glen Roy and strode across the hills of Stuartjross of this parish.

Bohuntin Hill --> Leana Mhor --> Beinn Iaruinn

A Marilyn, Graham and a Corbett. The weather forecast was right - the east was under clag the whole day, and even the Grey Corries never poked below the cloud. But our hills were clear from start to finish. A keen SE wind kept us moving, but we had to admire the views. Out to Knoydart down Loch Arkaig; all of Ardgour; and the Loch Garry hills were prominent. I've put a couple of other images from the day in the Extras.
