View of the Cathedral, Posada de Manolo, Toledo

We are lucky that the view from our room is of the cathedral - and it's striking both during the day and at night. It's even striking right now as a torrent of water pours out of the sky and onto the roads. Haven't seen anything quite like it in a while (you need to remember we've been out of the UK since 18 Dec...). My impression of the hotel continues to improve. The breakfast - which adds a grand total of 3 euro to the nightly bill (well, 6 euro for two of us) - was more than adequate today, and since we got there early (possibly too early) we had the pick of places to sit (unlike yesterday where we were advised we could sit outside on the terrace :-( ).
