At the Blue Lagoon

Having been blown in by Storm Frank ( cutting over half an hour off our flight time), we went straight from the airport for a dip in the Blue Lagoon. The water is the outflow from the nearby geothermal plant and is rich in silica as well as being beautifully hot.. It's a bit of a novelty to be in warm water, whilst surrounded by snow.
