Bleak Rossendale

A new year, and I shall attempt to blip every day again. For as long as Blip survives.

Over at Rossendale for New Year events, and out walking the dog on a cold day. Rossendale always looks so bleak and scarred, as though the dark events of the past and the legacy of the industrial revolution have left their mark not only on the people but also on the land.

Not a great Christmas to be honest. Too much on my mind. No medical, health problems, redundancies at work, new house - lots of stress.

It's going to be a challenging year.
