Cairn Gorm

Walked to the top of Cairn Gorm today although we did ride down on the Funicular as a thunderstorm was approaching. If you ride up on the Funicular you are not allowed to leave the top station, apparently this is to reduce erosion caused by walkers. The loch in the top left picture is Etchachan. The strange structure in the centre of the lower right picture is a weather station, the cylindrical barrel part opens up every 30mins or so to take readings.
