Nesting at the lake

I feel rejuvenated! Sunshine ALL day. A deadline met and the next batch of writing doesn't start until Monday.

My college teaching work is over until mid September - except for tomorrow's student presentation day and BBQ :)

Just had to make the 10 minute cycle to my favourite local lakes and spent an hour and a half walking around the lakes and taking 70+ pics. I'm hopeless at whittling them down but managed to reduce it by half. In the end it was a toss up between this one, emerging reeds, a caterpillar or some swimming dogs.

The lakes are two reclaimed gravel pits - now looked after by the Earth Trust. I'm so lucky as they are just a 10 minute cycle from my house. See my previous Radley Lakes blips for more info.
