Early Evening

In the hot sun at the hour of 7.42pm the last stretch of the road home to my place looks as if there not another soul in its preccinct. More like late afternoon its lengthening shadows provide welcome relief from the heat. It's been hotter. A few days ago we had a couple of days of 40 degrees.
