Never actually ridden a motorbike of any type, but the best way to get around in Indonesia is on two powered wheels.
Finally managed to hire one on Ceningan which is a gentler introduction than the traffic on the big islands. That said, I'm not sure that motorbike lessons in the UK would start with a 1:4 potholed hill with lots of loose stones (or rocks...).
Took this pic on a solo tour of the island and learnt useful lessons about not twisting the throttle when executing a three point turn (you end up in someone's garden) and not going down steep, gravelly footpaths (you have to run next to the bike with the throttle open to get back up...)
At least it's automatic...
