Winter blooms

Rhododendron 'Nobleanum' is a reliable winter flowerer, in bloom throughout the winter as long as we don't get heavy frost. 

A hybrid of Rh arboreum and Rh caucasicum, it was first raised at the Knap Hill nursery in Woking  around 1832 - Woking is my birthplace too, but my date was little more recent!
